Tbilisi hosted a high-level conference on labor rights and international standards.

Representatives of nine countries (Georgia, Belgium, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia, Moldova) and representatives of the Georgian government participate in the annual subregional meeting of the European Trade Unions of Public Service (EPSU).

Topics of the discussion include: Labor Law of Georgia, Rights of Workers in Public and Private Sector, Trade Union Rights, Collective Negotiations Process, Action, Activities carried out by Member Organization, European Experience, Regional Problems etc.

The high level meeting was chaired by the President of Trade Unions of Georgia and Irakli Petriashvili, president of the European Regional Council of Trade Unions Pan. According to him, because of the challenges facing Georgia, this confession is especially important.
